Love at First (and second) Sight
We stumbled on this museum by accident one afternoon and it was so good that we returned the next day. Even if you don’t know much about dance it’s worth seeing. Lots of clips of dance from classical ballet to modern stage. I loved the set models and the costumes. A compact museum, easy to get around and the staff were thoughtful and informative. Very good café and better than average museum shop. Thanks to all involved.

Dansmuseet – The very best
One of the best museums I have ever visited. It is not focused only on Western dance but also on dance around the world, with tribal masks of other cultures concerning their traditional dance styles. I was also lucky to visit an exhibition called Sleeping Beauties – really original! The gift shop is also very good, with good prices and things for all ages, as well as many books concerning dancing. I highly recommend it!
